When applied to the skin, its moisturising outer-coating time-releases the active Retinol.

Directions for use
To be used in the evening on its own or under a cream. Avoid exposure to UV and use sunscreen as retinol use may increase sensitivity to sunlight. Please note that there may be some redness or irritation on initial use. Do not use with other retinol treatments. It is advised that retinol products should not be used by pregnant women. Store in a cool, dry place.
